The Client

Rise Properties is a private Canadian real estate investment trust (REIT) that acquires and redevelops underperforming apartment communities in the Pacific Northwest. We have implemented Pardot email template setup in Salesforce.

The Objective

The marketing and sales departments of the client use Salesforce with Pardot integration.
Their goal was to integrate Pardot with Salesforce in order to improve their marketing division and automate the marketing process within Salesforce to meet their business needs.

The Challenge

Clients were facing challenges:-

  • Creating and publishing email templates using the Pardot tool.
  • Use prospect fields as merge fields in the email template 
  • Mapping newly created Pardot Prospect field with Salesforce field.

The Solution

Technology Mindz was engaged by the client to review and analyze their current business logic systems.

  • By using Salesforce’s automated features, we managed to complete most of the work without having to write any code.
  • Added a new custom formula text field to the Lead object, whose value will be populated based on the existing lookup field.
  • Created a new custom Prospect field in Pardot and mapped it to the newly created Salesforce formula field on the Lead object.
  • As a result of this, the newly created Pardot Prospect field can be used to merge email template fields.

Technical Approach

Following are the steps we took to meet the client’s needs:

  • Setting up Bitrix as a user story and project management tool with Kanban boards.
  • Organize a weekly meeting to gather new requirements and groom the backlog.
  • The meetings were also used for prioritizing user stories.

The Benefits

The client gained the following benefits as a result of implementing the solutions.

  • Clients were able to view and control changes made through loom video
  • Changes were well defined, and user feedback was incorporated more quickly.
  • The Salesforce platform was better utilized, resulting in better user adoption.
  • Email templates and process automation provided clients with an edge over their competitors.
